Cathedral Basilica-St Louis (May 30, 2009) : Our camera club visited the St. Louis Cathedral. This place was amazing. The first thing you notice is that pretty much every interior surface is covered in tiles. 41.5 MILLION tiles. It took them about 60 years to finish the job. A very cool place.

Washington National Cathedral (January 10, 2009) : I was in Washington on business and had to stay over a weekend so I decided to do a little sight-seeing. These shots are all hand-held and only a couple of them used flash. Shooting inside a place like this is tricky and it made me wish I had a tripod, especially for the really dark images. But it was a challenge! Yes, there are a lot of stained glass images. I love stained glass and most of these didn't have a predominantly religious theme.
